Filippo Varetta

Chiropractor

(Marylebone – GCC 04240)

Filippo was introduced to chiropractic by his father, after he received a shoulder injury while competing in a water polo match. He saw various therapists for the injury and, even though he felt better after the sessions, the condition soon returned. It never seemed to stabilise in the long term.

Filippo then had the honour of meeting the President of the Italian Chiropractic Association. He not only helped his shoulder condition but also had Filippo back to training and competing in water polo. Filippo says it is because of his interventions that he now understands the power and importance of chiropractic.

“I always wanted a career where I could help others, be able to give to others what I received myself,” says Filippo. “After this incredible experience I decided, at 19 years of age, I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

As Italy does not have a chiropractic college yet, Filippo moved to the UK to undertake his studies at the University of South Wales, where he was offered a position by one of his university tutors following his graduation. He worked in Wales for a further three years before moving to London, where he started working at a clinic in Fulham.

Spinal and extremities adjustments are the main techniques Filippo likes to use on his clients, though he tailors his approach for each client to address their specific needs and health goals.
