Putney Chiropractic Turns 30
Putney Chiropractic Centre first opened its doors in February of 1988 at 32 Bective Road, Putney, near Wandsworth Park. It was founded by Philip Curtis DC with his wife Carol. Phil Curtis handed over the reigns and moved to practice in Rustington, West Sussex, in 1996/7. Cameron Potter DC took over in 1996/7 and he and his wife Sally Potter worked the clinic until 2002 when they then moved back to their native Australia. Craig McLean DC, who was working at PCC at the time as a chiropractor, then purchased the clinic.
PCC remained at Bective Road until 2009 when it shifted to 2b Weiss Road, Putney just off Lower Richmond Road. Over the years we have been privileged to have numerous great chiropractors work with us. A few stand outs over the years include Phil Delport, Michael Wenban, Carlyle Jenkins, Paul Connery, Adrian Adam, Edwina Waddell, Rebecca Gilbert, Abby Holden, Sophie Rumbelow, Conor Ward, Michael Bloom and Don Murray, along with our current chiropractors Luke Brady, Bryan Thirsk, Ami-Bree Said, Sammy Kale and Liam Kelly.
In Sept of 2018 we decided it was time to celebrate our 30th anniversary and here are some photos of the event, where around 100 people turned up to help us celebrate. A real mix of the community came along, including previous chiropractors and admin staff, long term clients and our more recent patients, to help us celebrate the milestone.
We are proud to have been part of Putney’s and London’s health and wellbeing community for so long - here’s to another 30 years!
