Monday Motivation - February 4th

Hi everyone,

Thanks for being a part of our great little community and thanks for the continued support of our Monday Motivation emails, I get loads of positive feedback and love that Luke and I have been doing it for nearly two years now!

I’ve been reflecting on what a great night we hosted for the Chiro.London community supporting mental health as we invited Ben aka 'The Naked Professor' to do a presentation. The evening was a sell out with Ground Coffee Society full to the brim. Check out a summary of the night here.

Please do email me any other ideas, topics or speakers you have in mind for future events as we would love to host more.

I’ve been reading about the Weddell Sea Expedition who are searching for Sir Ernest Shackleton’s lost ship, Endurance. When the vessel was crushed in the ice and sank in 1915, Captain Frank Worsley took detailed measurements of the location using a sextant, recorded it in his diary and they are now using this to find the ship.

I love the story of Shackleton and if I ever need some motivation on a Monday or any other day I just have to think of the hardship he endured to save his men. Did you know his life boat the James Caird is in London at Dulwich College’s science foyer? You can read about the James Caird voyage here.

After the Super Blood Wolf Moon earlier this month my kids introduced me to this cool moon check website and here’s a great shot of the moon in Switzerland from a friend of mine.

This week I’ve been listening to comedian David Mitchell and his show/podcast ‘The Unbelievable Truth’. The perfect bit of light relief to distract you from Brexit!

I was shocked when I met some people last week who hadn't heard of Michael McIntyre! There's only two episodes of his show left on iPlayer... catch them while you can!

Thanks for being a part of our great little community and thanks for the continued support of our Monday Motivation emails, I get loads of positive feedback and love that Luke and I have been doing it for nearly two years now!

Cheers,

Craig
