Thoughtful Thursday - December 24th

Our penultimate (good word, I hear...) edition of 2020.

Wanted to start with a big thanks to all of our wonderful patients. We have been extremely grateful for all your support during this madness and hope that you now have some time to pause, breathe and regroup.

We have had some hiccups along the way, but we have really appreciated your patience and understanding – particularly regarding moving appointments, the constant emails with clinic updates and Craig's podcast! (Sorry mate, needed one last drive-by to finish off the year.)

Clinics are closed from this evening, 24th. We are not in clinic on 25th and 26th but are back in practice in some locations on the 27th and 28th. Someone will be checking all the clinics’ phones and emails on the 26th so if you need anything, do leave us a message and we’ll do our best to help you out.

We have unfortunately lost some people along the way this year, and our thoughts are with you and your loved ones, especially at this time of year. If anyone needs some help or support, as always, please do get in touch. We are here to help, even if it is just a chat, or sending you a coffee or some treats to help keep a smile on your face.

Shameless Plug

Completely indulgent this week – a big thanks to our teams!

To our practitioners and front-of-house in clinic… you have put in a remarkable effort to ensure you were available to help the community in its time of need. There has been a lot of stress, uncertainty and some tears, but you have proven to be strong and resilient.

You should all be extremely proud of how you have continued to help look after others when they have really needed you.

THANK YOU

We are by no means out of the woods yet, but I am pleased we have managed to get the ship to port, so you can all take some time to breathe, recharge and regroup before we roll up our sleeves again and get back to it in 2021.

Right, I don't know about everyone else, but I certainly think it is time to order a pizza, put the feet up with a quiet beer and to binge The Mandalorian before Die Hard and Home Alone tonight. (NO SPOILERS PLEASE!)

Next week will feature my 2020 in review. Basically stuff I liked from this year. As you can imagine, it’s a short list.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
