Thoughtful Thursday - February 2nd
February is HERE! With just 21 weeks left to get beach fit for summer, here's this month's updates live from Juliet’s in Tooting!
Clinic Updates
Grant has departed from Putney but the rest of the team are there to look after you! The team will have recommended a chiro who they think will be a good fit, but we won't always get it right. We have plenty of hands to help, so if you feel they’re not quite right for you, don’t be afraid to get in touch and we will try someone else until we find the right fit!
Paul G has also decided to move to Team Tooting full-time, so will no longer be practising at Kew. Read on to find out when you can see him in SW17.
We are also shuffling a bunch of our front of house team around again this month to ensure a more consistent service all round. Please make any ‘new’ faces you see feel welcome.
While on our front desk team, a fond farewell to Sian from Marylebone who has jumped ship to follow her passion in travel with Audley Travel. Thanks for your help! Do get in touch with her here if you are in the market for an awesome holiday!
Holidays & Changes from Andrea
Tooting: Paul G is moving across to our Tooting team from February 6th and his new hours will be Monday and Friday mornings and lunchtimes, Wednesday mornings, and Thursday evenings.
Fulham: From February 9th Susan will be extending her Thursday shift and now will be working Thursday evenings. Georgie will be taking February 19th off but not to worry, as Susan will be on hand for your regular adjustment.
Marylebone: Filippo is currently off and will be back in clinic on February 3rd. Elle will be away for a couple of weeks from February 21st and will be returning on March 7th. Welcome Ami (not to be confused with Chiro Ami!) to our front of house team.
Kew: Lucy will be away from February 22nd and she will be returning to clinic on March 3rd. Paul D will be on hand to look after you while she is away.
Putney: Ella will take some time off from February 8th and will be back February 21st. The rest of the team are all in to look after you.
Massage
We have a few new faces on our Chiro.London massage team…
Wandsworth Bridge Road: Bradley has joined our WBR team; he can be found in the clinic on Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. He can also be found at our Marylebone clinic on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Meg has also added Friday afternoons to her shift.
Marylebone: A warm welcome to Joe Crawford and Liz Marsland! Joe will be in clinic Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, Liz on Monday mornings.
Podcasts
Craig has been hustling but a busy January has meant it's been hard to find time lock in a coffee and a chat this month for the Chiro.London Pod, which as always is proudly fuelled by Ground Coffee Society.
We’re hoping to have Putney's local legend Guy from Well4Ever on soon to talk all things acupuncture, innate healing, and magic potions.
Any topics or guests you would like to hear on the pod? Feel free to get in touch!
And you’ll always find any episodes that you missed our website, Spotify, Apple and Google.
Shameless Plug: Run Elle, run!
As you may have seen from our socials, everyone's favourite Aussie female chiro at Marylebone is getting match fit for the London Marathon in April and raising money for a charity close to our heart, Spinal Awareness. You can follow her journey here.
We also have some excellent running content on our blog, which features guides on how to train for a marathon, how to (hopefully) prevent injury, and what to do if you do get injured. Check it all out here.
We know times are tough for a lot of people at the moment, but anything you can spare for any of these great causes people are running for would be greatly appreciated now more than ever.
Signing Off
Hope you are all enjoying the slightly lighter days. Think I have managed to coerce Luke into writing a Monthly Motivation, so keep an eye on those inboxes on a Monday for a nice surprise of some health and wellbeing inspo, generally interesting stuff, and probably some cool gadgets or food.
Good luck with your goals, stay hydrated (especially now Dry January is over) and look after yourselves!
