Thoughtful Thursday - June 10th
Welcome back! Hope you are all having a great week. In this week’s edition: we have a bit of housekeeping we need some help with, Michael is nearly at the bottom of your lumbar ladder, and our shameless plug is a change to our ‘Refer a Friend’ offering.
Clinic Updates
Big thanks to everyone at Tooting for being understanding regarding Erana’s little mishap. Have heard via Kate, Megan, Matilda and Pearl that those who have jumped on Michael’s and Zara’s table have had a great experience.
Tardiness & Cancellation Policy
Am not a fan of having to bring this up, however, due to mental traffic we are really struggling to keep to time with people running late. Suggestion would be that, if you can make it on foot within 30-45 minutes, it is probably going to be faster than driving or catching a bus (plus there are the added benefits of the walk complementing your care and getting some much-needed vitamin D!).
Late cancellations – we have always been pretty chilled about this, however, as many of our practitioners are now running wait lists, we think it is pretty uncool that someone misses out on being seen when someone else doesn’t turn up without a reasonable reason. Please contact us as soon as you get your reminder so we can rearrange your slot and we can offer your current appointment time to someone else who’s super keen to take it.
Holidays & Changes
Tooting: Erana is touch and go, and we are looking at easing her back into clinic possibly next week (TBC – call the front desk for latest updates). We have stolen Michael back from Fulham to help look after you all while she is off. Zara is also available to help.
Kew: Everyone is full steam ahead.
Fulham: Mike is now with us a bit more often, Silva has slightly tweaked her schedule to be available more regularly, and Michael hasn’t actually set foot in the door as he had to save the day at Tooting (sorry about that!).
Marylebone: All hands on deck!
Putney: Bryan is off June 16th and back on the 24th. Grant is off for a long weekend from June 17th and back on the 22nd.
Podcasts
The Chiro.London Pod, proudly fuelled by Ground Coffee Society, is on sabbatical. But you can always check out the greatest hits on our website, Spotify, Apple and Google.
Vertebra of The Week
In this week’s instalment of Michael’s tour of your spine, we continue to make our way down the lumbar region and land on…
L3
L3 is the middle vertebra of the lumbar region and the nerves located here supply the sexual organs, uterus, bladder… and knees! So nerve dysfunction in this area can lead to a whole variety of symptoms, such as bladder troubles, menstrual issues (very heavy, painful or irregular periods), problems conceiving or miscarriages, menopausal symptoms, and knee pains. Better make sure that one’s functioning properly!
Shameless Plug of the Week
Our ‘Refer a Friend’ programme is changing from the week commencing Monday, July 12th.
Our current offer is 50% off the price of an initial consultation for anybody you refer in. As a thank you, we knock 50% off your next visit after they have come in.
From the 12th of July we will be changing this, so get in soon if you want to take advantage of our current amazing offer!
Your friends can book a consultation for after the 12th and we will still honour the current arrangements, but for anyone contacting us from the 12th onwards, the new arrangements will apply.
All will be revealed over the next few weeks so stay tuned!
We have a bit going on across the clinics over the next couple of months, so do keep an eye out here for the latest information.
Enjoy the sun!
