World Health Day - The unexpected benefits from seeing a chiropractor

Today is World Health Day and marks the pinnacle of the World Health Organisation's year-long campaign “Depression: let’s talk”.  The overall goal of the campaign has been to improve the awareness of mental health issues while providing more people with depression with access to help they need. From our perspective, we've seen cases of depression which have been triggered by everything from chronic back pain to poor self-esteem. While we'd never say chiropractic on it's own will stop someone from being depressed, we do believe that opening the nerve pathway from your brain to the rest of your body can bring with unexpected health benefits which as a result, leave our clients feeling healthier, better about themselves and can form part of a care plan that tackles depression. Here's what people have say about how chiropractic care has benefitted them and the different ways it can help...It can help with digestion...https://vimeo.com/198153873It can help with mum/pregnancy brain fog...https://vimeo.com/187956555It can help kids (really recommend checking out this video)...https://www.facebook.com/unitedchirouk/videos/10154504960281733/It can even help you deal with the side effects of chemo - when your body is under attack from cancer...https://vimeo.com/177996291And it can help you function better even if you have MS...https://vimeo.com/169510946Or if you just want an explanation from Russ, a client of ours for years, and he'll tell you hpw chiropractic fits into the spectrum of health care choices and how he uses it to stay healthy and well, and not let his health decline as the years go by.https://vimeo.com/178004244Everyone's health journey is different. We all have our own unique set of challenges and obstacles to overcome. The most important thing for people to realise is there are people around who can help tackle these challenges. And chiropractic forms just one part of the healthcare puzzle. If you'd like to find out more about what chiropractic can do for you, one of our team would love to talk to you.
