Monday Motivation - December 3rd
Hi all,
Welcome to another Monday Motivation, I can’t believe it’s December already. Thank you to Erana from Tooting for last week’s contribution and stay tuned for the thoughts of another guest editor in December.
1. Seems like an age ago we had the long, hot (and lovely) summer. However, I was reminded again about global warming by a press release from the Met Office last week, and this set me to reduce our emissions as a company and personally.
I’ve committed to getting all our HV bulbs changed by 2019, I’ve installed smart thermostatically-controlled heating systems and we are signing up to the green sources of energy our energy providers recommend. What else can we do? Please do send me any suggestions or actions you’ve taken that we can also implement - my email address is craig@chiro.london.
2. I came across Stephen Fry’s Victorian Secrets podcast last week (which has nothing to do with lingerie, I assure you). Did you know in Victorian times one-in-four medical men in the 1890s were addicted to morphine, and beards were commonplace as they were believed to help filter out germs? I see the pro-beard movement of Victorian times is making a comeback!
3. I was introduced to Tom Bilyeu and his YouTube channel by a client recently. His channel is called Impact Theory and it’s designed to give people the tools and knowledge they need to unlock their potential and impact the world. If this appeals to you, check out his website and his free poster, “The 25 steps to living a life of impact."
4. Lastly, if you're feeling in the mood for a real Christmas treat, ice skating is a lovely way to get in the spirit right? Just remember falling on your sacrum on rock hard ice REALLY hurts (but you can always come and see us to make it feel better)!
Cheers,
Craig
