Monday Motivation - March 25th

Hi all,

Welcome to another edition of Monday Motivation and thanks to our recent guest editors, the feedback has been very positive about meeting our other chiropractors. We have 14 chiros on the team and only half have been guests so far, so watch this space to meet more of the team – or check them out here.

My son was lucky enough to attend WE Day in London earlier this month with 12,000 other students, teachers and Prince Harry (have a listen to his speech here). WE is a movement that believes when we come together, we can create an even better world. WE makes it easy for you to get involved – whether at home, school or work – by offering resources to help you create positive social change in your community and around the world. Get involved!

I’m sure we all have some habits we’d like to change, so after a friend of mine reached out for a recommended reading list of books on how to change habits, we found these three great books.

1) Atomic Habits by James Clear.

2) Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza (who’s also a chiropractor and is running a seminar in Edinburgh this weekend).

3) The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. (To see how he kicked his mid-afternoon chocolate chip cookie habit – and lost 14 pounds in the process – watch this.)

new study shows neck ties can reduce blood flow to the brain. It’s only a relatively small study, but an interesting read.

Climate change is a hot topic of discussion (pardon the pun) these days, but where do we start when learning about it? The Met Office is a great resource of information, take a moment to read this and let the education begin!

If you’re anything like me, recent events surrounding Brexit have led me to want to slap some people in the face with an eel. But there’s no need for violence, or fishing – just head here… LOL!

Signing off,

Craig
