Monday Motivation - June 10th

Hello and good morning!

This week we’re going back to the traditional purpose of the newsletter - Monday Motivation - and will try to do just that.

Getting out of bed can be hard. Cold, wet mornings. A less-than-inspiring commute. We’ve all experienced a lack of motivation to get up at some point. Hear what ex-Navy SEAL Jocko Willink has to say about getting up and attacking the day here! (2 minutes)

More energy, please. Tried going to bed earlier, tried eating better, tried exercising regularly - still want more energy? I hear you! This is a great read about how we can experience more energy by making some simple shifts in our thought processes.

Here are the highlights: To have more energy, don’t do less. Do more. Of the right things. And for you to feel more alive, you shouldn’t focus on you. Focus on others. Rest is only a small part of why you feel energised. It’s more about what you do and how those around you make you feel.

Right - got more energy, cool. How do I use it better and not be so easily distracted? Healthy barriers. Here’s how to set them up (and turn them off!).

Don’t be silly. Or stupid. Read this to see how just avoiding mistakes and not necessarily seeking brilliance can be a recipe for success.

Now get out there!
