Mindful Monday - September 28th

Hello and good morning!

Do you work well under pressure and care about the environment?

Thought so. You'll probably get a kick out of this digital clock unveiled in Manhattan’s Union Square that promises to tell exactly how long the world has left to act before an irreversible climate emergency alters human existence. Roll your sleeves up!

And if you feel like the world is in a bit of a pickle and you're unsure where to start, why not try slowing down and contemplating your next move while making your own, err pickles? Ok, that wasn't the smoothest segue (segway?) but hey, I tried...?!

Here's a great little guide to help you get in a pickle with any vegetable. Or try this beautiful guide to fermentation from none other than those pickling masters of Noma - an immediate new favourite book!

You'll probably need some tunes to enjoy this slow-paced exercise... Thankfully, Fleet Foxes have just dropped their new album to coincide with the Autumnal Equinox, called Shore.

However, if you're looking for something a little more upbeat, try this funky remix of an 80s favourite.

Organic shopping on a shoestring? Eating healthy doesn't have to cost the earth (pun intended).

Here's a thoughtful collection of tips to help you eat organic without blowing the food budget.

Memories on film. Do you still have some old films that you've been meaning to digitise and/or develop? Filmlab is a new tool that helps you scan, preview and store those old treasures for your viewing pleasure. Nice one.

Have a fab week wonderful people. Keep it simple and maybe slow and steady.

Big love,
