Thoughtful Thursday - April 4th
Welcome back from the Easter break - hope we all had the right amount of fun and chocolate! You’re stuck with me again this month guys, so this may be a tad more dull, but probably with better promotions… good trade off, no? Let’s dive in!
Clinic Updates & Happenings
We've been rolling out WhatsApp at our clinics as a form of communication, so if you've recently received a message from a weird number asking about your next adjustment - don't worry, it's just us! This also means you can WhatsApp us to make and change your appointments too. Just click on your clinic's link to get messaging:
Wandsworth Bridge
Marylebone
Kew
Tooting
Putney
(Fulham is coming soon!)
Our workplace wellbeing programme is still proving popular and the team have enjoyed visiting you all! Thank you so much to those that have had us.
If you think we could help your team, get in touch with Tom asap!! At the time of writing, we only have two slots left in April and I think one in May, so best book now.
Pop Sunday May 12th in the calendar for the Wandsworth Bridge Road Fayre. Believe we may be sharing a stall with the champions at Absolute Studios and will be surrounded by all the brilliant local businesses on WBR in a closed-road environment. So grab a coffee from our pals at Carbon Kopi and head over and say hey! (There may be some special offers for those who do. 😉)
The social team have been big on providing interesting information, trying out local health and fitness classes/studios, and giving us some general fun stuff this month. Give us a follow to keep the content coming!
And introducing our new and improved pod and blog section below, now entitled “Learning at Home” – it’s a great way to complement your care when you are not on the table! As always, any topics you would like covered or classes you want us to try, please get in touch.
Holidays & Changes with Andrea
Instead of boring you with a lengthy rundown of each clinic’s holiday roster and timetable changes, we’ve finally added them all here on our website! We’ll update it regularly, so simply check the page to see your clinic’s current opening times.
This Month’s Learning at Home
The team have been working hard on adding further education to complement your care. They will feature each month here, but you can find them all when they go live by following our social channels.
Jess talks about neural plasticity – what on earth is that? Well, click through to find out how chiropractic can have an effect on your neural plasticity and help with stress.
Speaking of stress, she also has another post which delves a little deeper into stress and balance, and how the two can impact each other.
Meanwhile, Ramiz delves into movement with posts on opposite sides of the fitness spectrum: the first discussing how posture can improve through Tai Chi (and chiro of course!)
And the second is one for the gym bunnies looking to lift their game and gains – he looks at how chiro can improve your weight training performance.
The Chiro.London Pod, proudly fuelled by Ground Coffee Society, is currently taking a spring break as Craig catches some rays abroad, but you can always find our back catalogue on our website, Spotify, Apple and Google.
This Month’s Shameless Plug
This month we are providing a useful add-on to complement your chiro care as everyone comes out of hibernation and gets more active, inevitably ending up with some sore and aching muscles.
To help ease the tension and get you ready for your next workout, the massage team at Wandsworth Bridge and Joe at Marylebone are offering a standard massage for £60 and a pack of 5 massages for just £250 (£50 each)!
Contact the front desk to book and make sure you mention the offer. You can pay in clinic, and it’s limited to one per person (don’t be greedy!) and only valid at these locations/with the mentioned therapists.
On that note, thanks to all who have followed us for over 100 of these! Believe I missed the anniversary edition, probably on purpose to avoid the PTSD of why we started these in the first place (during lockdown…). But, given the state of play in the world at the moment, we hope that these are adding a little joy and help you out in some way.
Till next time, keep moving and stay hydrated!
