Mindful Monday - August 9th

Good morning wonderful people!

Here’s a thought:

Planting seeds for tomorrow can’t be done tomorrow.

Right?!

Thought you’d like that one.

So, what can you do or start today that you’ll thank yourself for later on? It could be a step towards a new healthy habit, or a financial goal, or perhaps reaching out to an old friend or family member you’ve been meaning to contact.

You know what I’m going to say…. make a list, action steps and put them in the calendar!

Do you KAATSU?
Last Olympics was all about cupping and the circular bruises many athletes had on show. This year’s games seem to be the advertisement for Kaatsu therapy – perhaps the next performance-boosting fad.

Kaatsu rhythmically restricts blood flow to extremities to stimulate better circulation, hormonal balance and promote muscle tone. Ben Greenfield talks all about it here. Read more here.

Nakie Hammocks
I’ve recently been enjoying the joys of lounging in a hammock! Strung up between a couple of trees in nature with a good book, it’s an absolute delight. Nakie pump out environmentally friendly setups made from recycled bottles, and plant trees for every hammock purchased. Nab yours here and swing away….

That Life
New music drop from the self-proclaimed best band in the world: Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Back with their trademark mix of “alternative R&B, scorched heavy psych and dreamy disco”, the single That Life bodes well for an upcoming album.

Athletic Greens
My vitamin and supplement routine hasn’t really veered far from Athletic Greens for well over five years now. One scoop of their powdered greens blend every day covers the basics. Their travel sachets are particularly useful for the rare occasions I’m on the road. Check it here.

Ok guys, do something special this week!

Big love,
Luke X
