Thoughtful Thursday - April 3rd

Well, me oh my, look at that sky. “Tweet” go the hatchling birds, “woof” go the dogs, eager for a park walk, and “beep beep” go the top deck tour buses full of tourists taking photos of Oxford Street - London is coming back to life.

And what could be more seasonally appropriate than the monthly Chiro.London write up, featuring the all-important Easter clinical changes courtesy of Andrea, social happenings and community writings of Drew, and the timeless plugs from Tom?

Holidays & Changes with Andrea
As Easter throws up its usual scheduling changes, it’s a great idea to check when your chiro’s in town and plan your adjustments in advance. As always, you can find all of our opening hours and clinic changes here on our website.

Education & Community Outreach - From Drew this Month
Looks like the team have been busy lil bees again this month with helpful hints ‘n’ tips on our website and socials as documented by Breno!

Luke the OG from Marylebone hosted a technique workshop for the team out of our Marvic House site, where the team exchanged technique tips, high fives, and a cold refreshment or two. Thanks to Luke for hosting and keeping the team sharp to look after you all!

Jess of Team Fully and Marylebone fame has been out and about with Tom at a lot of workplaces lately, talking about all things spinal and postural health, as well as some on-site diagnosing and posture screening. They’ve enjoyed getting to meet so many new faces! As always, get in touch with Tom if you think we can help your workplace.

And lastly, Wandsworth Bridge’s Corey has been working on his golf game with our friends at Caddi Club. He even has a little piece for you on how chiropractic can improve your golf game – maybe not in the way that you think…

Tom’s Shameless Plug
Hello all, Tom “Hippity Hoppity” Smith here with a seasonal promotion. We’re all about embracing the festive spring spirit here at Chiro.London and this month we will be running a cross-clinic Easter Egg challenge!

The rules are simple: participating clinics will have a jar of Easter eggs displayed in reception and you’ll need to guess how many eggs are in the jar. But there’s a twist - you can’t just guess as you please, because there are little challenges where guesses are the reward!

  • For kids who find an egg hidden in the clinic = 1 guess

  • Follow us on Instagram = 1 guess

  • Complete a Google review = 2 guesses

  • Refer a friend to see us = 3 guesses

But what are the prizes? Well:

1st - The egg jar, a free chiro 6-pack, plus a free consultation/1st visit for a friend or family member
2nd - One normal easter egg, one free visit, and a voucher for a free consultation/1st visit for friend/family member
3rd – A free massage (at any clinics that offer massage services)

Specific details will be available in participating clinics soon, so keep an eye out or feel free to ask reception for further details. Best of luck and happy hunting!

That’s all for now, but you didn’t think I would let you go without a parting musing, did you?

This will be an extension of my usual “isn’t this lovely weather?” dialogue, but one that comes with an encouragement to pace yourself…

Personally, I have the tendency to pile my plate too high in overexcitement at the new weather, but burnout is burnout no matter the forecast. Those living in the UK have the ill-advised habit of anticipating the end of a season even though it has just begun, inadvertently leading to overcommitment – but the coming days are long and the nights are warm, so don’t rush.

Sometimes you don’t need to “make the most” of the sunny Sunday – sometimes you just need a breakfast that is slightly too big followed by a sun-soaked nap that is slightly too long. Breathe it in and listen to how the different trees sound when the wind blows off the Thames and hoists the pollen skyward.

From this patch of heaven to yours,

Cameron
